Los Angeles Rams vs. Arizona Cardinals

Los Angeles Rams

The Rams charge into this Sunday’s contest sporting an 11-3 record that ranks them 1st in the NFC West. Having already clinched the divisional title, Los Angeles was primarily focused on snatching that No. 1 seed in the NFC. Having lost the last two games to the Bears and Eagles 15-6 and 30-23 respectively, Los Angeles is starting to question their offensive dominance. The 15-6 loss to Chicago can be set aside since they were playing on the road in an environment much colder than they were accustomed to. However, this past Sunday’s 30-23 loss to the Eagles at home cannot be brushed aside so easily. Ultimately the Rams need an outstanding offensive showing this weekend to get their confidence back where they need it before beginning the playoffs.

Players to Watch: Jared Goff (4,273 passing yards, 27 TD, 12 INT), Todd Gurley II (1,251 rushing yards, 17 TD, 0 F), and Brandin Cooks (1,107 receiving yards, 3 TD, 72 REC).

Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals fly into this Sunday’s contest sporting a 3-11 record that pegs them as the worst team in the NFC West. The Cards don’t have much to look forward to in the remaining two weeks of the season but an upset win over Los Angeles would unquestionably give their fans something to celebrate. However, seeing what the Cards have to work with on offense, they really don’t stand a chance against one of the most loaded offenses in the NFL. The odds are pegging them as a massive underdog and that 14 ½ point spread makes it clear just how lopsided this contest is.

Players to Watch: Josh Rosen (2,042 passing yards, 10 TD, 14 INT), David Johnson (843 rushing yards, 7 TD, 2 F), and Larry Fitzgerald (645 receiving yards, 5 TD, 59 REC).
