The biggest online NFL betting bombshell of the weekend had to be the Jaguars’ upset over the Steelers. Yea the Vikings last-second triumph was breathtaking, but few betting sportsbooks could’ve foreseen a Jaguars’ upset. But behind a solid effort on the ground, the Jaguars were able to overcome one of the top-seeded AFC. Now Jacksonville is set to face the cream of the top as the Jaguars are scheduled to make a trip out to Foxborough for the AFC Championship game this weekend. What will the NFL parlay odds predict in this Jacksonville Jaguars vs. New England Patriots matchup?

The Jaguars shocked the nation with last weekend’s upset over the Steelers. But immediately following that victory, Jalen Ramsey, one of the Jags’ elite cornerbacks, decided to take to a hot mic. And while Ramsey was trying to thank Jaguars fans for their support and convince them to head out to Foxborough for this Sunday’s game. Unfortunately for Jacksonville, Ramsey also promised that the Jags would make, and win, the Super Bowl. And in doing so, Ramsey just gave some extra fuel to one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game.
Fortunately for the young cornerback, Jacksonville has a little something up their sleeve, the man who is essentially Brady’s kryptonite. As most online NFL betting fans will recall, Brady has only suffered two defeats in his Super Bowl record. In both of those losses, Brady faced the same opponent: Eli Manning. But while Manning played an integral part in those upsets, it was ultimately Tom Coughlin who engineered the triumphs.
Luckily, thanks to some decisions from the Giants’ front office, Coughlin made the move over to Jacksonville’s organization a few short years ago. Clearly, the two-time Super Bowl winning head coach has had no problems transitioning to the management side of things. Ultimately, betting sportsbook lines aren’t giving the Jaguars much of a shot, but that’s been the same story for the last couple of weeks. The Jaguars keep on advancing and although they’re set to face NFL titans, they have just the man to help them overcome.
New England Patriots
Unlike the Jaguars, New England didn’t exactly shock us in last weekend’s performance. As we were all expecting, New England pummeled the Tennessee Titans 35-14. Furthermore, it comes as no surprise to see the odds favor Tom Brady & Co. so heavily. After all, Brady is near invincible on home turf during the postseason. The one thing that seemed to have had the capacity to tear at the fabric of New England’s organization was an ESPN story that shed some light into some brewing troubles. But after manhandling the Titans, it’s clear that story only pulled them together. One thing of note is that the Jaguars have what you need to beat Brady; a great defense and Tom Coughlin. So if players are feeling bold, there’s good reason to take the upset in this Sunday’s Jacksonville Jaguars vs. New England Patriots.
