Green Bay Packers

As one of the top teams in NFL, it wasn’t difficult to predict the outcome of the Packers’ previous game versus the Oakland Raiders. They owned the opponent with a 42-24 scoreboard. QB Aaron Rodgers was on an MVP-worthy performance, going 25-31 with 429 passing yards. His 5 thrown touchdowns were on a different level. Aaron Jones tried rushing touchdowns but was not successful. He still carried the ball 12 times for 50 yards. Marquez Valdes-Scantling received the ball only 2 times but from a whopping 133 yards. The 66.5 yards per catch was something to take note of. The Packers ran the ball 23 out of 55 plays. They didn’t focus much on defense, as evidenced by the opponent’s 77% completion rate on throws. The Packers allowed their opponent 484 yards gained- a startling figure as opposed to their own 481-yards gained. The packers obviously had the upper hand in the conversion of yards to points.

The Green Bay Packers aren’t usually a high-scoring team. But with their current standing and the enemies they’ve been pitted against, it’s all too natural for their playmakers to step up. They shouldn’t let their defense lag behind though, especially as they’re up against a worthy opponent this time. If they falter in their defense, they might find it difficult to catch up.

Players to watch: Aaron Rodgers (250 ATT 162 CMP 2019 YDS 13 TD), Aaron Jones (101 CAR 399 YDS 4 AVG 8 TD 27 REC 196 YDS 7.3 AVG), Jamaal Williams (43 CAR 196 YDS 4.6 AVG 0 TD), Marquez Valdes-Scantling (21 REC 416 YDS 19.8 AVG 2 TDS), Davante Adams (25 REC 378 YDS 15.1 AVG 0 TDS), Jimmy Graham (18 REC 214 YDS 11.9 AVG 3 TDS).

Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs just replenished their morale with a 30-6 domination of the Denver Broncos. Pairing an upper-ranked team versus the lower-ranked ones almost always ends up in a very predictable fashion. QB Matt Moore threw in a touchdown. He went 10/19 at 117 air yards. He was ably assisted by Tyrek Hill, who got 3 catches for a yardage gain of 74. LeSean McCoy also did his part by carrying the ball 12 times for over 64 yards. The players had decent stats to show, hinting at a unified team effort as the reason for the win. The team wasn’t dependent on one superstar to do all the work. The Chiefs resorted to rushing for 27 out of 58 plays. This clearly shows that they are now confident to make rush plays as their bread-and-butter. The defense they put up was average, as the opponents still made 21 out of 34 catch attempts. The Chiefs conceded only 205 yards as opposed to their own yardage gain of 271.

Their cumulative stats sometimes makes bettors think twice about wagering for the Chiefs. They have a very low scoring output and a below-average defense. Things seem to work out for them, however, and they have their current ranking in the season to show for that. They better not make any mistakes in their upcoming matchup though, as they’re up against a hungry giant.

Players to watch: Patrick Mahomes (241 ATT 157 CMP 2180 YDS 15 TD 17 CAR 82 YDS 4.8 AVG), LeSean McCoy 60 CAR (322 YDS 5.4 AVG 2 TD), Travis Kelce (38 CAR 541 YDS 14.2 AVG 1 TD), Sammy Watkins (23 REC 365 YDS 15.9 AVG 3 TDS), Mecole Hardman (18 REC 319 YDS 17.7 AVG 3 TDS), Demarcus Robinson (20 REC 312 YDS 15.6 AVG 3 TDS).
