Great Online NFL Betting Spread Line on Broncos!
Posted by: Anthony Yaylor
After online NFL betting fans saw the Denver Broncos come within inches of losing their 2017 opener against the San Diego Chargers, many bettors felt that there was a bit too much preseason hype surrounding Denver. Players who bet NFL online weren’t exactly picking the Broncos to win the division this year, but most felt that Denver could at least give the Chiefs a hard time in the AFC West. But seeing the Broncos struggle against a lower-ranking opponent like San Diego forced many to rethink their stance on Denver’s playoff chances.
But then Week 2 rolled around and the Denver Broncos had the task of facing the Dallas Cowboys – a team ubiquitously considered to be one of the best in the NFC if not the league. And the way the Broncos dominated the Cowboys through all phases of the game thrust Denver back into the spotlight once again. Denver doesn’t have an explosive offense and it’s not easy to beat America’s Team at their own game. Nevertheless, Trevor Siemian and the Broncos got it done. But now the question arises; how will Denver fare in Week 3?
Denver Broncos vs. Buffalo Bills – Sunday, September 24th
When: 1:00 pm ET
Where: Ralph Wilson Stadium, New York
Stream: CBS Sports, NFL Game Pass
Online NFL Betting Odds:
Denver Broncos -3 (-102) 40 (-110)
Buffalo Bills +3 (-118) 40 (-110)
The Broncos enter this contest as the rightful favorites, but it is surprising to see a spread line as low as 3-points. Sure, Denver only defeated the Chargers by 3-points. But that was in opening week and it’s clear that the team had some kinks to work out. But the fact that they defeated the Dallas Cowboys 42-17 perfectly conveys what this team is capable of when all the gears are moving in the right direction. It goes without saying that online NFL betting players should take that spread line on the Broncos this weekend.
The Bills come into this contest with a 1-1 record that shows the franchise has plenty of room to improve if they are to compete with the Pats in the division. Buffalo opened up the season by facing their AFC East rivals the New York Jets and picked up a much-needed early season triumph in the division. However, it wouldn’t amount to much as New York would go on to lose the very next week.
The Bills faced the Carolina Panthers in Week 2 and although the NFC South contenders are coming off a disappointing season, Carolina is ready to show NFL betting sportsbooks that their best days are still in front of them. The Panthers’ defense was able to hold Tyrod Taylor, LeSean McCoy and the rest of the Bills’ offense to a meager 3 points. If that’s not surprising I don’t know what is.
Buffalo needs a strong performance in Week 3 to let their fans know just what kind of team they are. Bills fans haven’t had much to look forward to lately, but if this team can get in the right mindset they can compete with the best of them.
