Giants-Rams Bringing NFL Betting to London

New York Giants vs. Los Angeles Rams NFL Week 7 Odds

Online football betting fans who stay up to date with the latest happenings around the NFL know that the New York Giants have recently been making a lot of headlines. Unfortunately for Big Blue, it has been for all the wrong reasons. Other teams like the Patriots are making headlines for Tom Brady’s dominating return, or even the Eagles whose rookie quarterback has been a pleasant surprise, but unlike those two the Giants are beginning to gain a notoriety in the public’s perception. Most of the troubles began when Odell Beckham Jr. started throwing temper tantrums on the sidelines. OBJ ended up making the best of the situation, and seeing the Giants’ star receiver proposing to the kicking net in New York’s win over the Ravens this past weekend was something we all could have a chuckle at. But this past weekend another Giants’ player made headlines for something that is no laughing matter.

Recently a journal has surfaced that belongs to New York’s kicker, Josh Brown. In those documents, Brown explicitly states ‘I have abused my wife’. But that’s just the beginning of Brown’s confessions. The kicker goes on to detail a life of malevolence towards women stemming from abuse Brown received at an early age of 7 that culminated in a porn addiction and Browns’ constant objectifying and demeaning of women. The documents are extremely personal, but they reveal a dark side to an athlete who is indubitably a public figure. There is zero hope of the Giants spinning this in a positive light, but online football betting fans will want to know how Big Blue will respond to these shocking revelations.

Most football betting sites aren’t going to take this travesty into account when putting together lines for the Giants next matchup, but there’s no denying these disclosures will have an effect on New York’s locker room atmosphere.

Week 7 – Sunday, October 23rd

New York Giants           -3 (-105)    43½ (-110)    -155
Los Angeles Rams    +3 (-115)    43½ (-110)    +135

Neither team will be enjoying home field advantage this Sunday as this is one of the many overseas games the NFL has planned for this season. New York will be coming in with a 3-3 record and desperately need a win in order to remain competitive in the NFC East. The Giants currently rank last in the division and are a long ways off from taking the lead from the 5-1 Cowboys. The Rams are also 3-3 but find themselves ranking 2nd in the NFC West. Los Angeles got off to a great start in 2016 and were actually leading the West for a while. Unfortunately, two consecutive losses have set the Rams back two games behind the Seahawks.

The Rams offense has continued to struggle. At times they’ve been alright, but their inability to put points on the board late in the game has cost Los Angeles their last two games. Defensively the Rams haven’t been terrible but could improve against the pass.

The Giants offense has revolved around throwing the ball. Currently Big Blue’s passing game ranks as the 3rd best in the NFL, but their running game is the 30th worst rushing offense in the league. Defensively the Giants have been playing mediocre and the secondary is the weakness of their defense.
As aforementioned, this game will be taking place in London so online football betting fans looking to tune in can do so at 8:30 AM EST.
