The 2017 football betting season continues this Monday with a pristine NFC matchup that is bound to give you the NFL football online thrills for the night. In Week 11, the Seattle Seahawks will be opening up CenturyLink Field to welcome the Atlanta Falcons. The Seahawks had a late start to the 2017 season but most bettors feel that they’ve found their stride. The opposite is true for Atlanta who looks like they’re contending with a serious case of the Super Bowl blues. A win against the Seahawks this Monday night might change the minds of NFL bettors, but let’s take a look at what odds Atlanta will be facing versus the Seahawks before we go crowning them Monday night’s winner.

Seattle Seahawks -3 (-101) 44 ½ (-110) -140
The Atlanta Falcons fly into this Week 11 matchup sporting a 5-4 record that ranks them 3rd in the NFC South. After competing for a Super Bowl title last season, the Falcons were pretty sure they would be able to build on last year’s success. But so far that isn’t the case as Atlanta is barely floating above .500 and is pretty far behind the 7-3 Carolina Panthers and 7-2 New Orleans Saints in the divisional race. There’s still hope for a Wild Card berth, but that hope will pretty much go out the window if the Falcons fall short against Seattle this upcoming Monday night, which is exactly what sports betting websites are predicting will go down.
The Seahawks delivered an early season rebound by defeating the Colts 46-18 in their 4th game of the season. Since then, Seattle has only lost 1 game and has emerged as a playoff contender. The 7-2 Los Angeles Rams currently lead the division, but there’s no question that the Hawks are giving them a run for their money. Seattle also owns a win over the Rams so if they manage to tie their record, the division will go to the Seahawks. Seattle last stepped onto the field to face the Arizona Cardinals in a 22-16 NFC West victory. Seattle will be vying for an even more dominant football betting performance this Monday night.
Seattle may be without Richard Sherman in this contest, the man who would probably be tasked with taking out Julio Jones’ productivity, but there’s no reason to expect the Legion of Boom to fall short this Monday night. The Falcons’ offense isn’t quite as explosive as it used to be as they rank 11th in the NFL in passing. Furthermore, Jones is having a hard time matching last year’s Pro Bowl season as the 7th year player is sitting on just 715 yards on the season and one touchdown. Jones finished last year’s season with over 1,400 yards and 6 touchdowns.
