Cleveland Browns

The Browns enter this weekend’s matchup sporting a 2-3-1 record that ranks them dead last in the AFC North. The division is currently led by the 4-2 Cincinnati Bengals so Cleveland has already fallen pretty far behind in the divisional race. Nevertheless, the Browns still have plenty to prove on the gridiron. Fortunately Cleveland is going up against a struggling Tampa Bay team that has been faring so poorly on defense that they just got done firing their defensive coordinator. The question now is whether or not Mayfield will be able to capitalize on this ailing defense. So far this season, Mayfield has 4 touchdowns and 5 interceptions. If he’s able to play his cards right this Sunday, he should be able to give his stats a nice little boost this weekend.

Players to Watch: Baker Mayfield (1,076 passing yards, 4 TD, 5 INT), Carlos Hyde (382 rushing yards, 5 TD, 1 F), and Jarvis Landry (392 receiving yards, 1 TD, 31 REC).

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Bucs ride into this weekend’s matchup with a 2-3 record that pegs them as the 3rd worst team in the NFC South. The division is currently heralded by the 4-1 New Orleans Saints, who are starting to leave the rest of the NFC South buried in the dust. Early on Tampa Bay had some struggles at the quarterback position but it’s looking like the team is sticking with Jameis Winston from here on out. Winston is not the most ideal candidate for a franchise quarterback but should be enough for this team to be competitive. Unfortunately for Tampa Bay, they don’t have much of a defense at the moment. Furthermore, their offense isn’t consistent enough to win too many shootouts.

Players to Watch: Jameis Winston (540 passing yards, 5 TD, 4 INT), Peyton Barber (230 rushing yards, 0 TD, 0 F), and DeSean Jackson (501 receiving yards, 3 TD, 21 REC).
