Online NFL Betting Odds:
The Browns enter this Week 15 contest sporting a 5-7-1 record that ranks them 3rd overall in the AFC North. But with a 3-1 record in their last 4 matchups, Cleveland is hopeful they can close out the season with a winning record. This would be massive for a franchise that has long been considered the worst team in the NFL. Ultimately Baker Mayfield is coming into his own right as the future of this franchise. This can be largely attributed to new offensive coordinator Freddie Kitchens who has turned Mayfield into what looks like a Pro Bowl quarterback seemingly overnight. With Baker Mayfield leading the charge this weekend, the Browns should be able to upset Denver on the road.
Players to Watch: Baker Mayfield (2,877 passing yards, 19 TD, 10 INT), Nick Chubb (760 rushing yards, 8 TD, 0 F), and Jarvis Landry (790 receiving yards, 3 TD, 69 REC).
The Broncos ride into this weekend’s matchup sporting a 6-7 record that ranks them 3rd in the AFC West. The franchise has had an up and down season that has largely been derailed by a lack of consistency on offense. Right now the Broncos are averaging 22.3 per game, which is right near the 22.5 mark that Cleveland puts up. On top of that, the Broncos have a better defense on the season since they’re giving up 21.7 while Cleveland allots 25.5. If those numbers pan out this weekend, Denver should be able to come out on top here no sweat. However, Mayfield has been playing exceptionally well as of late and has this Browns team motivated and performing at a higher level than usual. It’ll be interesting to see how the rook fares against the dogs in Denver’s defense.
Players to Watch: Case Keenum (3,139 passing yards, 15 TD, 10 INT), Philip Lindsay (967 rushing yards, 9 TD, 0 F), and Emmanuel Sanders (868 receiving yards, 4 TD, 71 REC).
