Chicago Bears vs. Miami Dolphins NFL Wagering Online Odds
Before the season began, most NFL wagering online bettors had the Packers or the Vikings pegged as the betting favorites in the NFC North. One team most legal betting players didn’t even consider in the North was the Bears. After all, the Bears were coming off a weak 5-11 record and were coming in with a new coach. But six weeks into the season, the Bears have managed to work their way to the top of the NFC North. Will they be able to build on that lead in this Sunday’s Chicago Bears vs. Miami Dolphins matchup?

The Bears charge into this Sunday’s inter-conference matchup sporting a respectable 3-1 record. Although Chicago kicked the season off with a 24-23 loss to the Packers on the road, the franchise has been able to bounce back. Barring last weekend’s 48-10 win over the Buccaneers, the Bears offense hadn’t been that impressive. Ultimately this weekend’s matchup will help us decide if that 48-piont performance was a fluke or something that we can continue to expect out of Trubisky. Defensively the Bears have been one of the most impressive teams in the league. Right now they rank second in points allowed, second in total defense and No. 1 against the run. With those figures in mind, we can expect the Bears to come out on top this weekend. Right now the Dolphins rank near the bottom of the league in offense; 28th in scoring, 30th in total offense and 28th in passing.
Players to Watch: Mitchell Trubisky (945 passing yards, 8 TD, 3 INT), Jordan Howard (203 rushing yards, 1 TD, 0 F), and Allen Robinson (217 receiving yards, 1 TD, 19 REC).
The Dolphins come into this weekend’s action sporting a 3-2 record that ranks them 2nd in the NFC East. Early on Miami had an opportunity to claim an early lead in the divisional race after they kicked the season off with a 3-0 record. However, a Week 4 loss to the Pats set them back severely. Furthermore, this past weekend’s 27-17 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals has placed the Dolphins in a slump. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like they have the weapons to come out of it. Offensively Tannehill hasn’t looked that impressive and really doesn’t have much to work with. Defensively it’s hard to think of something Miami has done well so far this season. They do have a +2 turnover ratio on the year. However, that doesn’t come close to matching the +6 the Bears bring into this weekend’s action.
Players to Watch: Ryan Tannehill (972 passing yards, 8 TD, 5 INT), Frank Gore (202 rushing yards, 0 TD, 0 F), and Kenny Stills (241 receiving yards, 3 TD, 14 REC).
