Carolina Panthers

The Panthers had just completed their ownage of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a 37-26 game record. It was an easy victory against one of the lower-ranked teams in the NFL. It was like a walk in the park for the players. Kyle Allen soared with 20/32 and 227 air yards. He also chucked in 2 touchdowns for good measure. Christian McCaffrey fulfilled expectations on the ground. He carried the ball a lot of times. In those 22 carries, he only made 31 yards but managed to score a rushing touchdown. DJ Moore successfully received 7 balls, helping the team gain 73 yards. The Carolina Panthers were in fresh form, doing 63 plays and gaining 268 yards. While the yardage gain is not what’s to be expected with that number of plays.

However, more experienced stats analyzers should checkpoint conversion. The Panthers had a host of touchdowns to their credit, and this was what propelled them forward. Another big factor was their very tight defense. They only allowed their opponent to connect 56% of 54 throws. Despite this, however, the opponent’s fighting spirit still led them to 407 yards with 7 turnovers. It’s a good thing the Panthers had their offense game covered on this one. The Panthers just have to keep their performance consistent in order to reach greater heights. There’s really not much to adjust. They have the potential of becoming a powerhouse, top-ranked team in the future.

Players to watch: Kyle Allen (122 ATT 80 CMP 901 YDS 7 TD), Christian McCaffrey (127 CAR 618 YDS 4.9 AVG 7 TD 35 REC 305 YDS 8.7 AVG), Reggie Bonnafon (7 CAR 85 YDS 12.1 AVG 1 TD), D.J. San Francisco 49ers

The Panthers are a good team, but they’re going to need all their wits and skills when going up against the San Francisco 49ers. The 49ers are easily one of the best teams in the NFL right now. Their rushing game is second to none. The 49ers ended their previous matchup at 9-0. Keeping an opponent winless is a feat that’s common among the top-ranked teams right now. QB Jimmy Garoppolo was going on 12/21 with 151 passing yards. Instead of tossing a touchdown, he chucked in an interception. Tevin Coleman did 20 carries for the rush department. However, unlike the QB, he also didn’t get a rushing touchdown. He still contributed 62 yards though, with his longest run at 9 yards.

Meanwhile, Kendrick Bourne received a minimum of 3 balls, but those catches already added up 69 yards. It was a low-scoring and low-play game for the 49ers. They only had 17 first downs and 62 plays. Their defense was also very relaxed; they allowed a 75% completion rate on the opponent’s 12 attempts. Still, the opponent was only able to cover minimal ground at 154 yards. The 49ers still had the upper hand with 283 yards. Based on the relaxed play and minimum stats garnered in their previous matchup, the 49ers seemed to have treated it as a ‘rest game’. Expect more of their power to emanate in this upcoming matchup. They’ll need to extend their winning streak if they’re gunning for the crown this season.

Players to watch: Jimmy Garoppolo (167 ATT 114 CMP 1314 YDS 7 TD), Matt Breida (73 CAR 411 YDS 5.6 AVG 1 TD), Raheem Mostert (45 CAR 249 YDS 5.5 AVG 0 TD), George Kittle (34 REC 376 YDS 11.1 AVG 1 TD) Marquise Goodwin (11 REC 181 YDS 16.5 AVG 1 TDS), Deebo Samuel (15 REC 168 YDS 11.2 AVG 1 TDS), Kendrick Bourne (9 REC 139 YDS 15.4 AVG 0 TDS).
