Buffalo Bills

The Bills slide into this Week 6 matchup sporting a weak 2-3 record that ties them with the New York Jets for the 3rd spot in the AFC East. Right now the division is led by the 3-2 New England Patriots, who haven’t had the strongest start to the season. Because of this, the Bills could theoretically catch up to the Pats later on down the road. However, they’ll certainly need to win this Sunday’s matchup against the Bills. Luckily Buffalo is coming off a huge 13-12 win over Tennessee that showed this team still has some fire in them. Obviously the Bills quarterback situation is less than ideal, but honestly they were a bit precarious in that department. First they went with Nathan Peterman but quickly made the switch to Josh Allen when it became evident Peterman was not NFL material. So far Allen’s numbers haven’t looked that great but he has certainly shone flashes of brilliance. Unfortunately for Allen, the Bills running game hasn’t been there to back him up. McCoy is supposed to be an elite back but has no touchdowns this season and less than 200 rushing yards. The Texans will help us decide what 2018 has in store for Buffalo.

Players to Watch: Josh Allen (748 passing yards, 2 TD, 5 INT), LeSean McCoy (170 rushing yards, 0 TD, 0 F), and Zay Jones (164 receiving yards, 0 TD, 13 REC).

Houston Texans

The Texans had a horrendous start to the season, losing their first three matchups of the year. However, it looked like Houston just needed to make things click and success would soon follow thereafter. Their Week 4 matchup against the Colts saw them pick up their first win of the season 37-34. Afterwards Houston won some bragging rights in the state of Texas by upsetting the Cowboys 19-16 at home. Now Houston is matched up against a heavily-flawed Buffalo team that is capable of playing surprisingly well on any given Sunday. As long as Houston takes this matchup seriously, they should come out on the winning end decisively. After all, even the Green Bay Packers managed to shut the Bills out.

Players to Watch: Deshaun Watson (1,621 passing yards, 8 TD, 5 INT), Lamar Miller (225 rushing yards, 0 TD, 0 F), and DeAndre Hopkins (594 receiving yards, 2 TD, 39 REC).

Buffalo Bills vs. Houston Texans Betting Picks

So which side should cell phone betting fans take in this Buffalo Bills vs. Houston Texans matchup? All things considered, taking Houston at home is the safer bet here. The money line is a bit lopsided and that 10-point spread seems a bit high as well. Buffalo hasn’t had much luck against the spread on the road so that direction is questionable as well. Ultimately the UNDER on the TOTALs line is probably the best avenue here. Sign up today to make your online betting prediction!
