Buffalo Bills vs. Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers, Clay Matthews in particular, have had some trouble adjusting to the new roughing the passer rules the NFL is enforcing this NFL game betting season. Apparently, when defenders sack the quarterback, they cannot under any circumstances, land on top of the quarterback. Naturally, it’s taken players some time to get familiar with the new ruling. However, it seems Green Bay has had an especially rough go with this new ruling as the penalties have nearly cost Green Bay two games this season. Will this penalty come into play in this weekend’s Buffalo Bills vs. Green Bay Packers matchup? Let’s check on the legal betting odds to get a better idea.

Buffalo Bills

The Bills charge into this weekend’s action flashing a 1-2 record that ranks them 2nd in the AFC East. Buffalo kicked the season off in disastrous fashion, getting blown out by their first two opponents of the season. Naturally, Buffalo was pegged as one of the worst teams in the NFL after being outscored 78-23 in just two weeks. Nevertheless, the Bills absolutely shocked the world this past weekend by upsetting the Minnesota Vikings 27-6. That turnout could not have been predicted considering how weak the Bills were through the first couple weeks of the season. Now Buffalo looks to upset another NFC North team. Judging by how poor Green Bay has been this season, they very well could come out on top this Sunday. Granted, they’re going to have to find some way to get Rodgers off the field seeing as how they’re giving up 28 per game.

Players to Watch: Josh Allen (515 passing yards, 2 TD, 2 INT), Josh Allen (97 rushing yards, 2 TD, 2 F), and Zay Jones (106 receiving yards, 0 TD, 6 REC).

Green Bay Packers

The Packers are 1-1-1 this season and desperately need to correct this mess. Last season we saw just how pitiful the Packers are without Aaron Rodgers. And since Rodgers got banged up in Week 1, we haven’t seen much out of the Packers this season. In fact, other than a few roughing the passer calls, Green Bay has yet to make a splash this season. Rodgers is limping onto the field without a running game behind him or even a defense to back him up. And with his health not at 100%, Rodgers hasn’t been able to carry this team to a 3-0 start. Although they’re not too far behind in the divisional race, the Packers really need tow in this matchup on Sunday.

Players to Watch: Aaron Rodgers (832 passing yards, 6 TD, 0 INT), Jamaal Williams (135 rushing yards, 0 TD, 0 F), and Geronimo Allison (209 receiving yards, 2 TD, 13 REC).
