NFL Football Betting Odds:
The Bills are 1-2 so far in the preseason, which doesn’t look all that great. However, preseason success is never a good indicator of how you’re season will turn out. But coming off a 9-7 season, the Bills won’t settle for anything other than a playoff berth. Last season they made the postseason cut off a Wild Card berth. Unfortunately for Buffalo, they would be eliminated immediately by the Jacksonville Jaguars 3-10. Moving forward, the Bills are confident they can build on last year’s success. On top of that, the Bills are confident the 7 defensive free agents they picked up during the offseason will bolster their playoff standing.
Players to Watch: Tyrod Taylor (2,799 passing yards, 14 TD, 4 INT), LeSean McCoy (1,138 rushing yards, 6 TD, 3 F), and Charles Clay (558 receiving yards, 2 TD, 49 REC).
The Bears delivered a disappointing 5-11 record last season that saw them finish dead last in the NFC North. Ultimately the season wasn’t a complete loss as Chicago was able to develop Mitchell Trubisky, the number two overall pick in last year’s draft. Bears fans were very upset with the fact that the organization picked Mitch so highly in the draft. His rookie season results didn’t exactly ease their doubts. What’s worse is that the NFC North is projected to be a very tough division this season. Aaron Rodgers will be looking to beat up on the division that injured him last season. The Vikings are coming off a playoff year and will be looking to reclaim the division once more. The Lions were flirting with playoff qualification last season and have the making of a postseason team. All in all it’s not looking good for the Bears.
Players to Watch: Mitchell Trubisky (2,193 passing yards, 7 TD, 7 INT), Jordan Howard (1,122 rushing yards, 9 TD, 1 F), and Joshua Bellamy (376 receiving yards, 1 TD, 24 REC).
