Online NFL Odds:
The Falcons fly into this Week 10 contest sporting a 4-4 record that ranks them as the 2nd worst team in the NFC South. Unfortunately for Atlanta, their slow start to the season has essentially doomed any hope of winning the division. This is because the red hot New Orleans Saints have claimed the No. 1 spot in the South with their 7-1 record. Likewise, the 6-2 Carolina Panthers are hot on the Saints trail and aren’t giving Atlanta much breathing room either. But with a massive win streak, Atlanta can certainly position themselves to win a Wild Card berth. Ultimately it’s too early to tell and all Atlanta can do is keep on winning. Fortunately they’re going up against a pretty bad team this Sunday. But if Atlanta happens to underestimate Baker Mayfield & Co., they will surely find themselves on the losing end of a Week 10 contest.
Players to Watch: Matt Ryan (2,685 passing yards, 19 TD, 3 INT), Tevin Coleman (398 rushing yards, 2 TD, 1 F), and Julio Jones (933 receiving yards, 1 TD, 60 REC).
The Browns step into this Sunday’s matchup sporting a 2-6-1 record that pegs them as the worst team in the AFC North. On top of that, Cleveland enters this Sunday’s pairing riding a 4-game losing streak. Although Mayfield looked tremendous in his first few outings, he has been unable to lead Cleveland to a victory in over a month. However, he is still an electrifying player and at the end of the day he’s Cleveland’s best hope moving forward. Looking over the numbers, it’s clear that Atlanta enters with the better offense. Right now the Falcons are scoring 28.5 per game while Cleveland is putting up 21.1. Defensively things are rather even with the Falcons giving up 28.3 while the Browns give up 27.4. If this trends continue this Sunday, the Falcons should be able to pick up a home win over Cleveland.
Players to Watch: Baker Mayfield (1,768 passing yards, 10 TD, 7 INT), Nick Chubb (403 rushing yards, 4 TD, 0 F), and Jarvis Landry (578 receiving yards, 2 TD, 55 REC).
