NFL Super Bowl Betting Odds:
New England Patriots
Having won the AFC Championship this past Sunday, the Patriots have now made 4 out of the last 5 Super Bowls. However, they’ve only won two of those past 3. Does this mean that the Pats are losing their Super Bowl touch? Probably not, considering the great lengths that Philadelphia had to go to in order to usurp Brady & Co.. This time around it’s safe to say that Brady and Belichick will have an even bigger drive than in previous years, accounting for their recent Super Bowl loss at the hands of the Eagles. Seeing as how the Pats are 3-0 in their last 3 meetings against the Rams, it stands to reason that they’ll have a bit of an edge over LA come February. One of the more promising aspects of New England’s current postseason run is how little they’ve been flagged. Although they looked pretty bad towards the end of the season, it seems the playoffs had this team on edge. On top of that, Gronkowski has been going off in recent games.
Players to Watch: Tom Brady (691 passing yards, 2 TD, 2 INT), Sony Michel (242 rushing yards, 5 TD, 0 F), and Julian Edelman (247 receiving yards, 0 TD, 16 REC).
Los Angeles Rams
The Rams looked like they had bitten off more than they could chew in the NFC Championship Game against the Saints. Early on it was pretty visible that LA had gotten rocked by the Saints fans. However, the franchise showed incredible resilience by bouncing back despite that early adversary. And although a missed call late in the game ultimately affected the outcome, there’s no denying that LA delivered a hard fought performance. Granted Gurley hasn’t been that great as of late but he’s still undeniable one of the best and most versatile backs in the NFL. Most importantly, he hasn’t turned the ball over much this season. That will be invaluable in this 2019 Super Bowl betting matchup.
Players to Watch: Jared Goff (483 passing yards, 1 TD, 1 INT), CJ Anderson (167 rushing yards, 2 TD, 0 F), and Brandin Cooks (172 receiving yards, 0 TD, 11 REC).
