College Football Betting Michigan Wolverines vs. Wisconsin Badgers – Saturday, Nov. 18th

With just a couple of weeks left in the 2017 college football betting season, betting sportsbook players know that they have to make the best of the remaining schedule. In short, bettors should use this time to make safe bets to help recover from any losses suffered during the season, as well as use this time to scope out the biggest title contenders around the league. The biggest surprise sports betting websites have seen this season involves the Alabama Crimson Tide’s fall from No. 1 all the way down to No. 2 and then back up to No. 1. After seeing the Georgia Bulldogs get manhandled by Auburn, no one is riding the Bulldogs hype train. In the meantime, check out the odds available for this Saturday’s contest pitting the Michigan Wolverines against the Wisconsin Badgers. Take a look.

 Michigan Wolverines

The Michigan Wolverines come into this Week 12 matchup sporting an 8-2 record that ranks them 4th in the Big Ten – East Standings, thanks to the 5-2 record the program has posted in conference play. The Wolverines come into this weekend’s contest riding a 3 game winning streak after picking up wins over Rutgers, Minnesota and Maryland. The most recent of which is their 35-10 triumph over the Terrapins that proved this team can get the job done week in and week out. Michigan was nationally ranked for most of the year but after losing 42-13 to then No. 2 Penn State 13-42, the AP decided that they were cutting the Wolverines too much slack as Michigan slipped in the national rankings. Nevertheless, despite being ranked No. 19 ahead of this weekend’s game, an upset over No. 5 Wisconsin would certainly thrust the Wolverines back into the spotlight.

Wisconsin Badgers

The Wisconsin Badgers enter this Saturday’s contest with a flawless 10-0 record that ranks them 1st in the Big Ten – West. Wisconsin has faced 7 conference opponents this year and hasn’t had much problem defeating all of them. Considering that impressive streak, the football betting lines NCAA available on this matchup make perfect sense. In fact, one could argue that the -300 odds the Badgers are facing are giving the Wolverines too much credit. However, looking over both team’s numbers, Michigan might be able to give Wisconsin a run for their money this Saturday.

The Badgers come into this contest sporting an offense that puts up 36.3 points each game while their defense is only allowing 13.4 points. Those are pretty impressive numbers but Michigan’s own stats aren’t half bad either. The Wolverines’ offense is putting up 27.9 each outing while their defense is only allotting an extremely respectable 16.4. If both teams deliver on these betting sportsbook numbers, this matchup might be one of the best we see this weekend.
