UTSA Roadrunners vs Texas State Bobcats 09/12/2020 –UTSA Roadrunners will take the road in their opening match of the NCAAF 2020 season to play against Texas State Bobcats from the Bobcat Stadium in San Marcos, Texas. The Roadrunners were one of the last three teams in the Conference-USA West last year and they look forward to changing that with a fresh start. Texas State Bobcats were in no better spot last year as they struggled in the Sun Belt Conference play. The Bobcats were already defeated by SMU Mustangs in their opening game. The ncaa football tournament seems to be full of surprises this year despite the other struggles amid the pandemic.
|When:||Saturday, September 12, 3:30 PM ET|
|Where:||Bobcat Stadium, San Marcos, Texas|
UTSA Roadrunners are under the leadership of their new head coach Jeff Taylor. The team has a few changes to their squad, but eight starters will return from the offensive end. The quarterback position will be taken over by Josh Adkins and that will be a big change. Adkins was transferred from New Mexico State after his impressive performance. From the running back spot, Sincere McCormick will continue his spot. UTSA has a few changes to their defense as well since eight of their top tacklers are returning out of 10. Six are expected to start while three safeties return along with a couple of cornerbacks.
