UTSA could use a win to boost its place in the conference standings. For that to happen, they need to get their offensive machine going. The Roadrunners have been struggling on offense and lack a passing game. UTSA Roadrunners are expected to turn to its vaunted rushing attack once more with RB Sincere McCormick in the lead. He leads the team with 610 yards and six touchdowns this season. The Roadrunners also need to work on their defense. Their secondary needs tweaking, especially against the Old Dominion. UTSA cannot afford to take the Monarch’s offensive for granted, one of the most prolific ones so far.

Old Dominion will need to find a way to ground UTSA if it is to live up to its billing as game favorites. They need to dictate the pace early on and foil the Roadrunners’ last game. Ball control and patience have worked for the Monarchs and this is expected to happen Saturday. On the offensive side, they need to figure out their quarterback problem. The Monarchs have utilized three QBs so far this season. The last one was Hayden Wolff who threw 169 yards and an interception. The freshman will be put to the test against Roadrunners, hoping to make big plays for Old Dominion.
