Top Sportsbook Bets to Make in Week 12 at BetNow on NCAAF

After the NCAA committee received some heat this past week for some questionable college football rankings, some rankings that would’ve played right into the NCAA’s pockets, the committee decided to give the rankings a rightful mix up. At the moment, the rankings seem pretty accurate with the top 5 compromised of the following; Alabama, Miami FL, Oklahoma, Clemson and Wisconsin. Some sports betting websites might still have some issues with the current lineup, giving the embarrassment Clemson suffered a few weeks back against the unranked Syracuse Orange. But there’s nothing we can do at the moment, other than take advantage of this weekend’s lucrative spread betting options. Let’s break down your top sportsbook spread betting options for Week 12 of the 2017 college football betting season.
Texas vs. West Virginia
The struggling Longhorns have fought their way back to a .500 record but the NCAA football betting lines are predicting that they’ll fall below that mark after facing the 24th ranking West Virginia Mountaineers this weekend. Not by much though, as the money line is slightly favoring West Virginia straight up -170. You’re not going to want to bet on this matchup straight up however, as the real value lies in the spread on this one. The Longhorns are 7-3 against the spread on the year and more specifically: Texas is 3-1 ATS on the road. For comparison, the Mountaineers are 5-5 against the spread this season. The payout on a Longhorn bet is set at -120 for Texas
Syracuse Orange vs. Louisville Cardinals
The Orange has been having a tough year in 2017 as they’ve slumped to a mediocre 4-6 record on the season. However, Syracuse has found great success against the spread this season. And while that might not do much for the program, it certainly helps top sportsbook players when betting on this weekend’s action. Syracuse, at 4-6, will be taking on the 6-4 Louisville Cardinals on the road. While the Cards have found plenty of success this year, they haven’t been that great on the spread posting a 2-7-1 ATS record thus far. Louisville will likely come out on top once it’s all said and done but there’s no way they’ll cover the 13 point spread considering that they’re 1-4 against the spread at home while the Orange are a masterful 4-0 ATS on away games.
Nebraska vs. Penn State
The Penn State Nittany Lions look to regain some momentum after losing 2 out of their last three. A 35-6 win over Rutgers this past weekend was a step in the right direction. Unfortunately for No. 10 Penn State, the remaining two games on the year are against relatively weak programs, so it doesn’t look like the Lions will be able to make up for their 2 losses on the year. Nevertheless, players can still take advantage of the top sportsbook odds available on PSU this weekend. You’re going to want to take the Nittany Lions on this one as they’re 4-1-1 against the spread at home. The payout is currently listed at -110.
