Tigers Heavy NCAA Online Betting Favorites Over FSU
Posted by: Mike Davis
The Clemson Tigers started this year’s NCAA online betting season ranked as the No. 5 team in the nation. It seemed a little low for the team entering the season as the reigning National Champions, but the AP felt like it was accurate considering that Clemson would be competing without Deshaun Watson – the man who carved up the Alabama Crimson Tide’s foreboding defense in the national title game two years in a row. As the season progressed, Clemson was able to work their way up to the No. 2 spot in the nation. However, the rankings had to quickly reconsider themselves after witnessing Clemson fall short 24-27 against the unranked Syracuse Orange. It was a minor slip-up, but one that cost the Tigers a few spots in the national rankings. Heading into this weekend’s contest, Clemson is sporting a respectable No. 4 nationwide ranking. Clemson will be competing against the Florida State Seminoles this weekend, a team that hasn’t quite lived up to its preseason expectations. Let’s take a look at what kind of turnout online sportsbooks are predicting for this Saturday’s matchup.
Clemson Tigers vs. Florida State Seminoles – Saturday, November 11th

NCAA Online Betting Odds:
Florida State Seminoles +16 (-110) 46 (-110) +525
Clemson Tigers -16 (-110) 46 (-110) -750
Florida State Seminoles
The Seminoles march into this weekend’s contest sporting a 3-5 record that ranks the program 4th in the ACC – Atlantic. Florida State is coming off a 10-3 season which prompted the AP to rank them as the 3rd best team in the nation, ahead of Week 1’s NCAA online betting action. However, it wouldn’t be long before the Seminoles found themselves dropping in the national rankings. Part of it could have something to do with the hurricane the program had to deal with at the start of the season. There’s no question that it impacted this team and it’s clear that impact might have played a hand in delivering this team’s losing record.
The Tigers pounce into this Week 11 matchup flashing an 8-1 record that ranks Clemson 1st in the ACC – Atlantic. Clemson has posted a 6-1 conference record so far this year and it looks like the online football betting odds are predicting that the Tigers will pick up their 7th ACC victory of the year this Saturday. As previously brought up, Clemson recently suffered their first loss of the season against a pretty crappy team. However, the set back was temporary as the Tigers have won back to back games since then. The most recent being their 38-31 triumph over the No. 20 NC State Wolfpack. The Tigers are No. 4 in the nation and they’ll be looking to maintain that ranking, if not improve upon, in order to qualify for this year’s postseason. As the reigning national champions, Clemson knows that if they get into the postseason, they could have a very real opportunity of wining back to back titles.
