Ole Miss Rebels
Ole Miss Rebels finished the regular season strong, winning three of their last four games to finish the season at 4-5 and gain a spot in the Outback Bowl. The Rebels’ offense is expected to rely again on the trio of quarterback Matt Corral, running back Jerrion Ealy, and wide receiver Elijah Moore to stand a chance in the bowl game. Corral has registered 2,995 yards and passed for 27 touchdowns. Ealy, on the other hand, was a potent weapon on the ground as he rushed for 745 yards and contributed nine TDs.
Moore was solid as a wideout as he accumulated 1,193 yards in 86 receptions and recorded eight TDs. The Rebels have consistently relied on their offense all season, scoring an average of 40.9 points. However, their defense was not as dependable as they normed 40.3/game. In their last game against Louisiana State, Corral threw for 251 yards and passed for three TDs but he tallied five interceptions and one fumble. The quarterback was their main weapon on the ground, running for 158 yards and scored a TD.
