Oklahoma State vs. Texas Betting Line and College Football Pick

Oklahoma State got a little full of itself last year. More emphatically head coach Mike Gundy admitted as much. Gundy vowed that the Cowboys would be getting back to the basics this year. So far, they have kept the promise with an impressive start against the College football odds. In the same way, Texas is in black to start the year. UT’s home loss to LSU a couple of weeks ago was a reminder that they are not quite ready for prime time. Extending the Longhorns challenge is a long injury list that may wear down the roster.

OSU is coming off a 40-21 win and payout at Tulsa as 14-point road chalks. As a result, the Pokes are now 3-0 both straight up and against the spread with two overs. Oklahoma State again boasts one of the most explosive offenses in the country. Counter to that is a defense that is leaky like always. However, the one thing OSU has shown is greater focus and finish compared to last year. It follows that Gundy did a lot of souls searching after a 7-6 campaign in 2018. The respected coach admitted he took his eye off the ball.
Players to Watch: QB Spencer Sanders (622 YDS, 67% COMP, 9.76 AVG, 7 TD, 1 IND, 181.8 RTG, 34 RSH, 219 YDS, 6.4 YPC, 1 TD), RB Chuba Hubbard (66 RSH, 521 YDS, 7.9 YPC, 7 TD), WR Tylan Wallace (15 REC, 390 YDS, 26.0 YHPC, 6 TD), WR Dillon Stoner (12 REC, 88 YDS, 7.3 YPC, 0 TD), PK Matt Ammendola (19-19 XP, 3-3 FG)
Last week Texas coasted to a 48-13 win and payout at Rice as 32-point chalks. The Longhorns are now 2-1 both straight up and with the line and 3-0 over the total. Similarly, to OSU to the Horns boast a prolific offense but questionable defense. Head coach Tom Herman is moving the needle in the right direction. From this point comes a Big 12 schedule that will be more difficult.
Players to Watch: QB Sam Ehlinger (956 YDS, 73% COMP, 8.5 AVG, 11 TD, 0 INT, 177.3 RTG, 32 RSH, 121 YDS, 3.8 YPC, 1 TD), QB Roschon Johnson (25 RSH, 117 YDS, 4.7 YPC, 0 TD), RB Keaontay Ingram (34 RSH, 181 YDS, 5.3 YPC, 3 TD, 10 REC, 94 YDS, 9.4 YPC, 0 TD ), WR Devin Duvernay (27 REC, 269 YDS, 10.0 YPC, 3 TD), WR Brennan Eagles (9 REC, 203 YDS, 22.6 YPC, 3 TD), WR Jake Smith (11 REC, 126 YDS, 11.5 YPC, 3 TD)
