Missouri Tigers

The Missouri Tigers are riding on the momentum of a big win against Ole Miss, the Commodores may be in for a tough grind. Transferee quarterback Kelly Bryant is proving to be a great acquisition, owning a 65.0 completion rate. He tests a Commodore defensive backfield which has had its share of checking opposing offensive players. Even more impressive is that everyone on the Missouri side is helping out. That includes Jonathan Nance who boasts of 19.2 yards per reception. Albert Okwuegbunam has yet to break out but that could happen Saturday.

Players to watch: Kelly Bryant QB 117 CMP 180 ATT 1,575 YDS 65 CMP% 8.8 AVG 64 LNG 12 TD 4 INT; Larry Rountree III RB 103 ATT 557 YDS 5.4 AVG 41 LNG; Tyler Baddie RB 59 ATT 264 YDS 4.5 AVG 49 LNG; Johnathon Johnson WR 25 REC 275 YDS 11 AVG 29 LNG; Jonathan Nance WR 13 REC 250 YDS 19.2 AVG 64 LNG

Vanderbilt Commodores

Their offense has not exactly been great and much of that is due to the lack of a good quarterback. Riley Neal has not performed up to par and Deuce Wallace has not been doing any better. The frustrations radiate all the way to Jared Pinkney and Kalija Lipscomb who are waiting to be fed. The only bright spot right now is Ke’Shawn Vaughn. He has carried on being the SEC leader in yards per carry from last season. The good defense could help for Vanderbilt. But stopping Bryant right now may take a lot of effort.
