Miami Hurricanes vs. Florida Gators Betting Odds
The Hurricanes turned in a 7-6 record last season that also included a 4-4 run in ACC play. Naturally this led to a less than stellar 3rd place ranking in the Coastal Division of the conference. This was a pretty big step down from the 10-3 record Miami delivered the previous season that saw them win the Coastal Division. With this in mind, it’s clear that Miami’s focus is on getting back to their previous form this upcoming season. That job goes to Dan Mullen who returns in his second season as Florida’s head coach. Mullen will be returning with the same crew as the previous year. All in all, Miami has enough returning starters to feel comfortable with the program.
Players to Watch: N’Kosi Perry (1,091 passing yards, 13 TD, 6 INT), DeeJay Dallas (617 rushing yards, 6 TD, 5.7 AVG), and Jeff Thomas (563 receiving yards, 3 TD, 35 REC).
The Gators turned in a 10-3 record last season that included a 5-3 run in SEC play. This was an incredible step up from the 4-7 record the team had delivered the previous year. Needless to say, Florida is pretty happy with the job Dan Mullen did in his debut as their head coach. Mullen will return in 2019 as Florida’s head coach once again and is joined by the same coaching staff. Last season the Gators got an invite to the Peach Bowl and came out on top so a SEC championship is the aim for this year.
Players to Watch: Feleipe Franks (2,457 passing yards, 24 TD, 6 INT), Lamical Perine (826 rushing yards, 7 TD, 6.2 AVG), and Van Jefferson (503 receiving yards, 6 TD, 35 REC).
