College Football Game Odds:

Georgia Bulldogs +2 (-110)   48 (-110)         +113

Auburn Tigers -2 (-110)        48 (-110)         -133

Georgia Bulldogs

The Georgia Bulldogs strived to finish the regular season with an 11-1 record to finish 1st in the SEC – East due to the 7-1 record the Bulldogs posted in conference play this season. This will mark the second time the Bulldogs have faced off against Auburn this season, with the Tigers getting the better of Georgia in the first round 40-17. That game was a little under a month ago but somehow NCAA sportsbooks believe this Saturday’s championship game will be on the line. Granted, the Tigers made a plethora of mistakes in that matchup, but should that really make that big of a difference?

While the Bulldogs will have that lopsided loss looming over their heads as they enter this matchup, Georgia can at least find some assurance in the fact that the better defense. The Bulldogs are allowing a slim 13.8 points per game while the Tigers are allotting a tad bit more at 16.4. That said, Auburn does have a slightly better offense since they’re averaging 36.7 points to the 35.5 Georgia is earning each weekend. Auburn has been held under 30 points four times this season while Georgia has only failed to score 30 three times.

Auburn Tigers

The Tigers enter this Saturday’s championship game with a 10-2 record as well as a No. 4 nationwide ranking. The Tigers posted a 7-1 record in conference play to land the top spot in the SEC – West. Auburn’s two losses of the season have come against Clemson and LSU, but upsetting both Georgia and Alabama the Tigers have managed to overcome 2 teams that were ranked No. 1 when they took to the gridiron has allowed Auburn to enter the playoff discussion. The Tigers will need a win this weekend to remain within the playoff cut.

NCAA players looking to try their luck on the college football game odds should probably take the Tigers straight up. Auburn defeated Georgia decisively just 3 weeks back and they should be able to replicate those same results this Saturday. Facing -133 odds, this could be one of the largest payouts of the year. Similarly, you could also take the Tigers on the spread. At 5-4-3 ATS, Auburn’s record against the spread this season isn’t all that impressive. But since they beat Georgia by 23 last time, there’s no reason to believe that they won’t cover that narrow 2-point spread.
