One of the first contests players will have an opportunity to wager on is the pairing between the Boise State Broncos, currently ranked 25th in the nation, and the Oregon Ducks. Let’s mulch over what NCAA bookmakers are putting together for this year’s Las Vegas Bowl.

The Broncos ride into this upcoming Bowl Game with a 10-3 regular season record that gave way to a 1st place finish in the MW – Mountain standings, thanks to the 7-1 conference record the program posted in 2017. This finish earned Boise State a ticket to the conference championship, where they were to face the then-ranked No. 25 Fresno State to determine who the best team in the Mountain West conference truly is. The Broncos faced a tough opponent but were able to pull out a 17-14 win over their rivals. Boise State will be looking to finish out the 2017 season on a high note by picking up a solid win in this year’s Las Vegas Bowl. The odds haven’t come out yet for this matchup but there’s no question that this is a great option to line up some straight bets college football.
The Ducks swim into this evening’s contest sporting a 7-5 record that ranks them 4th in the Pac-12 standings, due to the weak 4-5 record Oregon posted in conference play this season. The 2017 regular season was filled with ups and downs for the Ducks but Oregon was, at the very least, able to close out the season’s action on a high note as they won their last two games back-to-back. Now Oregon has an opportunity to give their fans something to celebrate by picking up an upset win over a nationally ranked opponent. The Ducks last stepped onto the gridiron to face Oregon State in the annual Civil War game. Oregon came out on top decisively 69-10.
Both of these teams match up pretty well with Boise State having the advantage on defense and the Ducks entering with the better offensive unit. The Broncos are averaging 32.1 points which isn’t as good as the 36.7 Oregon is averaging. However, Boise State is only allotting 13.0 defensively: a much better average than the 21 points the Ducks are giving up. Whatever the football bowl game odds might come out say, there’s no question this will be a great matchup.
