The symptoms were harsh as he was forced to engage in physical activities. To make matters worse, Foster struggled with asthma and other allergies. Clemson’s coach Dabo Swinney stated that Foster was at his peak back in August and is yet to get back to his best.

Back in 2019, Foster recorded 4.5 sacks with 41 tackles in total. Foster also recorded 10.5 tackles for loss but sat out for the entire 2020 season. The idea of returning came back to Foster after his visit to the Duke Medical Center a few weeks ago. Stepping out of college football was one of his hardest decisions, but the tide has shifted and he should be able to hit the field soon. Foster was ranked as the fifth-best defensive player in the country by ESPN back in high school. He held the third spot as the best overall prospect in North Carolina.
