Notwithstanding this fact, this Saturday’s Birmingham Bowl betting odds are predicting a contentious matchup. So what kind of NCAA legal betting predictions should players make off of this Saturday’s contest?

NCAA Football Betting Odds:
Wake Forest Demon Deacons
The Demon Deacons finished this year’s regular season action with a disappointing 6-6 record. Considering the program was coming off an 8-5 season, it’s safe to say the year was a complete disappointment. Nevertheless the team gets to dip their toe into some postseason action by competing in this year’s Birmingham Bowl. Interestingly enough, the NCAA football betting odds are giving Wake Forest plenty of credit with those above listed odds. The numbers however, don’t paint the same picture. Right now Wake Forest is scoring 32.5 points per game, which fails to measure up to the 43.6 figure that Memphis delivers. Similarly the Demon Deacons are giving up 33.3 points on defense, slightly more than the 31.5 that Memphis is allotting.
Players to Watch: Sam Hartman (1,984 passing yards, 16 TD, 8 INT), Cade Carney (954 rushing yards, 8 TD, 5.4 AVG), and Greg Dortch (1,078 receiving yards, 8 TD, 89 REC).
The Tigers pounce into this Sunday’s contest sporting an 8-5 record. This season Memphis posted a 5-3 record in conference play, which led to a 1st place ranking in the West Division of the American Athletic Conference. Ultimately Memphis was paired against No.8 UCF in the conference championships. And although they were clearly outmatched, the program ended up putting up one heck of a fight in their 41-56 losing effort. Now Memphis looks to finish the season out on a high note by taking care of a much weaker opponent.
Players to Watch: Brady White (3,125 passing yards, 25 TD, 8 INT), Darrell Henderson (1,909 rushing yards, 22 TD, 8.9 AVG), and Damonte Coxie (1,104 receiving yards, 7 TD, 66 REC).
