Arkansas Razorbacks vs Kentucky Wildcats 10/12/2019 – The Arkansas Razorback visit the Kentucky Wildcats this weekend as underdogs based on sportsbook sites. A reason seen for this is because the Wildcats have had problems dealing with consistency on offense. They lack the rushing game to control games although their passing game hums. However, the Wildcats offense is not that smooth as well. They are struggling so it may all boil down to who gets lucky. Kentucky is 3-2-0 when wagering on the over/under and 3-2-0 against the spread in betting. Both teams are coming off losses. With the Wildcats and Razorbacks primed to get back on track, it all boils down to who wants the W more.

It will take a lot for the Razorbacks to bounce back from their previous loss to the Texas A&M Aggies. Rakeem Boyd did pace the team in rushing but was unable to rush for a touchdown in that game. However, it was Ben Hicks running the show from under center for Arizona. Cheyenne O’Grady led the receiving yardage, earning 91 yards on 8 catches. Against the Wildcats, they need to do better and get support from others. The defense will need work, seeing how Arkansas is allowing opponents to complete 61.5-percent of their passes. They currently sit in the pack and will need to muster more effort to move up in the standings.

Despite being installed as favorites over the Razorbacks, the Kentucky Wildcats cannot afford to let their guard down. They need to squeeze out more from both ends. Their offense needs heavy improvement although defense may do it for Kentucky. Although they are doing good against passing teams, a couple of tweaks could do the trick. Sawyer Smith needs to do a better job, particularly in the endzone. Christopher Rodriguez had a good game in rushing while Ahmad Wagner did his part in receiving yardage. Armed with a so-so offense, it all boils down to how they can effectively use their ground game. They average 164.8 yards on the ground per contest, 62nd in the nation.
