Alabama Crimson Tide
Alabama is a three-touchdown favorite to prevail over Texas A&M. They are an 18-point favorite over the Aggies who they meet for the 12th time since the 1942 season. Crimson Tide holds the edge over the Aggies, 9-2 and are 4-0 in College Station. Despite being ranked as the no. 1 team, Alabama will go another week without a night game. They will be looking for a strong finish to get back in the race for one of four playoff spots. Crimson Tide is coming off a 14-13 win over Arkansas but failed to cover as a nine-point favorite.
Defense will be key for Alabama who has not given up more than 23 points in any game so far. Up against a lowly Aggies team, odds of them winning are undoubtedly high. All eyes will be on Tua Tagovailoa who had 418 passing yards and six touchdowns against the Rebels. Wide receivers DeVonta Smith and Jerry Jeudy are expected to run roughshod against the Aggies’ secondary.

Texas A&M Aggies
Despite being installed as underdogs, the Aggies are expected to try and give the Tide some challenge. They are coming off a big win against the Arkansas Razorbacks after losing previously against the Auburn Tigers. Texas A&M hope that their last win can provide them the momentum against the higher-seeded Crimson Tide. Kellen Mond will be tasked to lead anew after churning out 251 passing yards and three touchdowns with an interception last time out.
The Aggies will need support from their backfield since they only had 89 rushing yards on 33 carries against the Razorbacks. They need to come up with a balanced attack against Alabama if they are to soften up the Tide’s defense. Pundits believe that Aggies head coach Jimbo Fisher does have the personnel to pull off an upset right in their own home field. Among the players that Texas A&M can turn to include Quartney Davis, Jhamon Ausbon, Kendrick Rogers, and Ainais Smith.
