Saint Louis Billikens

The Billikens own a three-headed dragon with Jordan Goodwin, Hasahn French and Gibson Jimmerson. Goodwin and Jimerson had been averaging a combined 30.5 points and 19.8 rebounds per game. They are both beasts on the defensive side with Goodwin doing 2.5 steals per night while Frech does 3.2 blocks per game. Gibson Jimerson had been the third option in scoring every night. With the odds favoring Boston College, it should be interesting where the Saint Louis Billikens could get more ammunition from their best players. The bench scoring for the Billikens will be critical for them to pull an upset win.

Players to Watch:  J. Goodwin (15.5 PPG, 8.3 RPG, 2.8 APG, 2.5 SPG), H. French (15 PPG, 10.5 RPG, 2.2 APG, 3.2 BPG), G. Jimerson (10 PPG, 1.5 RPG)

Boston College Eagles

The Eagles had a few hiccups to start the season but the good outweighs the bad. They are coming off a 5-point loss and they are glad to host this game against the Billikens at their home floor to score a comeback victory. Derryck Thornton had been the team’s best scoring option but in the last game he shot only 33% and finished still with 16 points. Nik Popovic also had a terrible night with just seven points and John Heath did 11 points on 40% field goal shooting. All their three core players mentioned should pick it up from the loss and try to select their shots well. It would probably just take two out of three of them to shoot better for Eagles to beat the Billikens.

Players to Watch:  D. Thornton (16.2 PPG, 2.8 RPG, 4.3 APG, 1.8 SPG), N. Popovic (13.5 PPG, 6.2 RPG, 1.7 APG), J. Heath (12.7 PPG, 3.8 RPG, 1.3 APG, 1.7 SPG)
