There is no doubt that the Wildcats are at the No. 2 Seed, especially after putting up a good show against most opponents. Yet another tough opponent from the Big 12 Conference is going to be the Texas Longhorns. The Longhorns have been in the mix for the No. 2 seed but the Baylor Bears are yet another team that is battling on. The Bears are fourth in the Big 12 and are not going to give up with ease.
No. 3 Seeds
Taking the top spot in the No. 3 seed will be the Virginia Cavaliers. The Cavs are second in the Atlantic Coast Conference and are one of those tough teams to defeat. Following the Cavs is the Tennessee Volunteers despite being at the fourth spot in the Southeastern Conference. The Marquette Golden Eagles are next on the top three seeds alongside the Gonzaga Bulldogs. The Bulldogs opened up as a huge favorite but the odds seem to be slipping away despite being second in the West Coast Conference.
Some of the other favorites will be Kansas State, Xavier Musketeers, Miami Hurricanes, and Saint Mary’s Gaels.
