This year has been a strong comeback for sports after a great struggle with the pandemic in 2020. The MLB season will come to an end, but the NFL and College Football have kick-started its regular season. While everything seems to be on track, the NCAA College Basketball schedule for 2021-22 is already available online. The Division I season is all set to start on November 9, 2021 and will conclude on March 6, 2022.

NCAA College Basketball: Big Ten Schedule

The most awaited series will be the March Madness tournament that will take place on March 17, 2022. The open recruiting period has already started out and will continue until November 7. Indiana has already released their 20-game schedule in Big 10 Conference play. Indiana will enter their first season under the guidance of their new coach Mike Woodson. Michigan Wolverines are all set to play their first exhibition game against Wayne State at the WSU basketball arena in Detroit on November 5. The Wolverines will start their regular season against Buffalo on the 10th and continue their season with Seton Hall, UNLV and Arizona in their upcoming games. The Ohio State Buckeyes will play their first exhibition game against Indianapolis on November 1. The Buckeyes will continue their series with their first regular season game against Akron. One of their toughest games is expected to be against Purdue, Michigan State.

New Prospects on the List

The Buckeyes are one of those teams that often look for future prospects. That said, they are looking forward to Matas Buzelis from the Brewster Academy. Currently ranked as a four-star prospect, Buzelis is the No. 7 forward in the class. The talented player also holds the second rank in the state of New Hampshire. The Buckeyes have an eye on the upcoming star but he is in the 2023 class. Ohio State is currently ranked at No. 1 for the 2022 basketball class. Bowen Hardman, Roddy Gayle, and Felix Okpara are the top players. Five star guard Bruce Thornton is the other notable player on the team.

Most teams are all set to begin their preseason practice sessions at the end of September. Ohio State will miss out on Seth Towns due to his back surgery. As for the other teams, they will bring in their new changes and are looking forward to making this season one of the best. With the Big 10 schedule in place, the other conference divisions are expected to release their schedule soon.
