NCAA Basketball Tournament Update: 2021-22 Season Top 10 Rankings

The NCAA Basketball tournament did not end well for all Gonzaga fans. This is especially after winning every single game and dropping their finals. It’s still the preseason and the upcoming 2021-22 NCAA basketball tournament is expected to have fans at the court this time. While several teams have made changes to their squad, a list of top 10 teams has already taken their rank. In this top online sportsbook, the early top 25 list is out, but the top 10 seems more intriguing and interesting.

Baylor Bears, Michigan Wolverines, and Alabama Crimson Tide

Baylor Bears are at the 10th spot and the defending nationals champs will depend on some of their transfers this season. The projected starting five for Baylor this season are: LJ Cryer, Adam Flagler, James Akinjo, Matthew Mayer, and Jonathan Tchamwa Tchatchoua. Michigan Wolverines are one of those impressive top teams last season. Like most, they are dealing with their own struggles. The projected starting five for Michigan are Devante Jones, Eli Brooks, Caleb Houstan, Brandon Johns, and Hunter Dickinson. Moving onto Alabama Crimson Tide, the starting five will be JD Davidson, Jahvon Quinerly, Jaden Shackelford, Jose Primo, and Noah Gurley. The Wolverines ranks at nine and the Crimson Tide at eight.

NCAA Basketball Tournament Update: Purdue Boilermakers, Arkansas Razorbacks, and Kansas Jayhawks

Purdue Boilermakers are at the seventh spot and are projected to start with Eric Hunter Jr, Jaden Ivey, Sasha Stefanovic, Mason Gillis, and Trevion Williams. Purdue had an early exit in March and they look forward to a better season. Arkansas Razorbacks are at No. 6 with Chris Lykes, Davonte Davis, Stanley Umude, Au’Diese Toney, and Jaylin Williams as their projected starters. There is no doubt that the Jayhawks have made it to the top five. Kansas has been one of the best in the last season. They will start with Joseph Yesufu, Remy Martin, Ochai Agbaji, Jalen Wilson, and David McCormack.

UCLA Bruins, Ohio State Buckeyes, and Villanova Wildcats

UCLA Bruins made it to the final four last season and they have the right to earn the fourth position. The Bruins are to start with Tyger Campbell, Johnny Juzang, Peyton Watson, Jamie Jaquez, and Cody Riley. At No. 3 is Ohio State Buckeyes, Head Coach Chris Holtmann will start with Jamari Wheeler, Duane Washington Jr, Justice Sueing, E.J. Liddell, and Kyle Young. Colin Gillespie’s injury cost the Wildcats big time in their NCAA basketball tournament, but this year is going to be different. The projected starting five for Villanova are Colling Gillespie, Justin Moore, Caleb Daniels, Jermaine Samuels, and Eric Dixon.

Gonzaga Bulldogs

Baylor Bears are expected to be at the top of the list after last season’s success. The Bulldogs are still dominant especially after their impressive winning streak. Gonzaga is projected to start with Andrew Nembhard, Nolan Hickman, Hunter Sallis, Chet Holmgren, and Drew Timme. While this is just the preseason top 10 list, the real deal with take-off when the tournament begins. Until then, betting on college basketball will have to wait as these teams are preparing for an exciting and entertaining season.
