Columbia Lions vs St. John’s Red Storm 11/20/2019 – The Columbia Lions have struggled in this season and they are coming off an 18-point loss. They will seek to make a comeback as they go on the road to Queens, New York. They will be hosted by the St. John’s Red Storm whose three-game winning streak was snapped last game. Like the Lions, Red Storm is itching to get back on the winning trail but according to How To Bet On College Basketball, Columbia will continue to struggle in this game against St. John’s. The game can be viewed on live streaming via SofaScore this Wednesday, November 21 at 7 pm Eastern Time.
Columbia Lions vs St. John’s Red Storm 11/20/2019
In fairness to the Columbia Lions, they were heavy underdogs with a +22 over the Virginia Cavaliers. They only lost by 18 points. Like always, it has been always Mike Smith that has been carrying this team but he only had 16 points and shot less than 50% from the field. There is not much that Randy Brumant can contribute as he only did 9 points and four rebounds. They have a better chance in this game against the Red Storm and they would need Randy Brumant doing double-double. Ike Nweke had a rough night as well and they would need a good game from Jake Killingsworth to inch closer to St. John’s.
Players to Watch: M. Smith (20 PPG, 3.8 RPG, 4.8 APG), R.Brumant (8.8 PPG, 6 RPG, 1.5 SPG, 2 BPG), I. Nweke (8.5 PPG, 6.4 RPG).
St. John’s Red Storm
Coming off from a 2-point loss, the Red Storm felt that they won that game against the University of Vermont Catamounts. It was one of those days that Mustapha Heron wanted to forget as he just sank 3 of his 11 shots. LJ Figueroa tried to carry the slack but he also had a bad shooting night. Even Rasheem Dunn sank 33% of his shots that day and owning home-court advantage over the Lions, they would like to avenge their loss by beating up the Lions. Expect the Red Storm to try and start out well as compared to their last game as an adjustment addressed by the coaches.
Players to Watch: M. Heron (18.5 PPG, 2.8 RPG, 2.8 APG), L. Figueroa (18.5 PPG, 6.8 RPG, 3 APG, 2.3 SPG), R. Dunn (13 PPG, 2 RPG, 2 APG).
