Sportsbook players looking to get in on some betting NCAA basketball action can dive right in to Tuesday’s action. There are plenty of intriguing matchups for bettors to take a swing at but there’s no question that the most interesting matchup of the night will be the contest pitting the Baylor Bears against the Xavier Musketeers. The game will be nationally broadcast so players can tune in this evening to watch the action as fold as these two nationally ranked opponents go head-to-head. Let’s take a look at what the top sportsbook betting lines for this contest are.
Baylor Bears vs. Xavier Musketeers – Tuesday, November 28th
When: 6:00 pm ET
Where: Cintas Center, Cincinnati, Ohio
Stream: Fox Sports Go, Watch ESPN
Betting NCAA Basketball Lines:
Baylor Bears +4 ½ (-110) 150 (-110) +170
Xavier Musketeers -4 ½ (-110) 150 (-110) -200
The Baylor Bears crawl into Tuesday night’s pairing sporting a 5-0 unblemished record that has given way to a No. 16 national ranking recognition. Xavier will represent the biggest challenge the Bears have faced so far this season, and other than Wisconsin a few weeks back no team has really come close to defeating the Bears. Despite the fact that Baylor enters this contest undefeated, and with a higher national ranking, the NCAA betting lines are still siding against the Bears this evening.
Baylor will be hoping for a strong performance from Manu Lecomte this evening. Lecomte is putting up an average of 19 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game. No. 2 in points for Baylor is Jo Lual-Acuil Jr. who averages 14.0 points, 11.2 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks in each contest. Third in points for the Bears’ program is none other than Terry Maston. Maston is throwing up 11.0 points, 8.6 rebounds, and unfortunately: 1.2 turnovers per game.
Xavier enters this matchup ranked No. 21 in the nation. Additionally, the Musketeers come sporting a 5-1 record that could become 5-2 this evening. Xavier first tasted defeat this past Friday in the Continental Tire Las Vegas Invitational when they faced the unranked Arizona State Sun Devils in a massive 102-86 losing effort. After seeing that type of performance, bettors should feel disheartened from backing Xavier. However, other than that fluke, Xavier hasn’t come close to losing another game this year. But after playing like that, there’s no question the Musketeers’ players are a little down in the dumps.
Despite what mood they may be in this evening, Xavier needs their players to show up this evening. That includes Trevon Bluiett who leads the program in points with his average of 21.3 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per matchup. Bluiett gets plenty of help from JP Macura who is second in points for the Musketeers. Macura throws down 13.8 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists per game and even 1.8 steals. Player betting NCAA basketball this evening should also keep an eye out for Tyrique Jones. Jones is averaging 11.0 points, .8 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks per game.
