2019 NCAA Tournament Bracket Breakdown
East Region

- Virginia Tech
- Mississippi State
- Maryland
- Louisville
- VCU
- UCF
- Minnesota
- Belmont/Temple
- Liberty
- Saint Louis
- Yale

- North Carolina Central/North Dakota State
Naturally Duke enters this one as the No. 1 seed. All in all this comes as no surprise given the fact that Zion Williamson is now healthy. Additionally, the Blue Devils came up big in the ACC Tournament, which was a great warm up for the upcoming March Madness betting action. While Duke is far from invincible, they’ve only conceded two losses with him in the lineup. And now that his injury is well behind him, Duke shouldn’t have too many hiccups in the near future. Needless to say, a ton of people will be banking on Duke this time around.
South Region
- Virginia
- Tennessee
- Purdue
- Kansas State
- Wisconsin
- Villanova
- Cincinnati
- Ole Miss
- Oklahoma
- Iowa
- Saint Mary’s
- Oregon
- UC Irvine
- Old Dominion
- Colgate
- Gardner-Webb
Lo and behold, Virginia is back as the No. 1. Naturally fans will want to shy away from a team that was so eliminated so spectacularly last season. After all, the Cavs became the first No. 1 men’s seed to lose to a No. 16. This time around Virginia will undoubtedly be vying for a more respectable outing. Fortunately for them, it seems like Tennessee has the toughest draw of the bunch here. After all, the Volunteers could potentially face Cincinnati, Purdue and Villanova on their way to the Elite Eight. They’ll likely have to face Virginia as well, as long as the Cavs don’t suffer an embarrassing early exit once again.
Midwest Region
- North Carolina
- Kentucky
- Houston
- Kansas
- Auburn
- Iowa State
- Wofford
- Utah State
- Washington
- Seton Hall
- Ohio State
- New Mexico State
- Northeastern
- Georgia State
- Abilene Christian
- Iona
It’s not all that surprising to see UNC sitting at the No. 1 seed here. However, the one team that pundits are shifting their focus to is 7th seed Wofford. Most sites point to some data, specifically an adjusted efficiency rating in which Wofford ranks highly, to suggest that this team is the bracket-buster to keep an eye on. However, in order to make a deep push into the tournament, Wofford will have to survive a second-round contest against the likes of Kentucky. If they happen to survive that, this could be a great sleeper pick for mobile betting players.
West Region
- Gonzaga
- Michigan
- Texas Tech
- Florida State
- Marquette
- Buffalo
- Nevada
- Syracuse
- Baylor
- Florida
- Arizona State/St. John’s
- Murray State
- Vermont
- Northern Kentucky
- Montana
- Fairleigh Dickinson/Prairie View A&M
Although they were ultimately upset by Saint Mary’s in the WCC Final, Gonzaga has nevertheless claimed the No. 1 seed here. The Zags hopes undeniably rest in their offense, which ranks amongst the best in the country. They have decent shooting but their frontcourt is arguably the best in the country. Keep an eye on Florida State, who upset them last season. We know Gonzaga will be eyeing them up.
