Thursday brings us deeper into the month of May and deeper into this year’s online NBA betting playoffs. Yesterday, players who bet on NBA playoffs witnessed the Cavaliers lay a beating on the Toronto Raptors once again, followed by a surprising result in the Rockets-Spurs matchup. Houston, who had won game one 126-99, suffered a hefty 121-96 loss in Game 2. Apparently, in that series, only one team can show up at a time. But now that Wednesday’s action is in the books, players can turn their attention to the lucrative action basketball betting sites are offering for Thursday’s contests.

Boston Celtics
The Celtics took the nation by storm this year by posting a 53-29 record that allowed the franchise to finish first in the Atlantic Division and 1st in the Eastern Conference. Few people expected to see someone other than Cleveland at the top of the East, and even fewer are complaining about the change of scenery. 2017 marks the third-straight year Boston has been in the playoffs, and also the first time they’ve advanced past the First Round in that time span.
In the First Round of this year’s playoffs, the Celtics faced off against the Chicago Bulls. The Bulls put up their best fight by winning the first two of the series, but a 4-game streak assured that Boston would be the ones advancing.
Washington Wizards
The Wizards were coming off a .500 season but the franchise had little difficulty turning things around. Washington finished the regular season with a 49-33 record that led to a 1st place finish in the Southeast Division and a 4th place finish in the Eastern Conference.
The Atlanta Hawks were the team the Wizards faced in the opening round of this year’s postseason. It took the Wizards six games to advance past the Hawks, but Washington was able to get it done in the end.
So far in the series against Boston, Washington has been getting vastly outscored. In Game 2, the Wizards were able to get the contest into overtime, but still ended up losing by 10 points.
