A Small Online Basketball Betting Break before Game 2

Posted by: Mike Davis

Wednesday’s online basketball betting results made one thing abundantly clear: the Cavs will do everything they can to keep their playoff streak alive. At this point, apart from competing with themselves, Cleveland is focused on trying to match the Golden State Warriors step for step. Neither the Warriors nor the Cavaliers have yet to concede a loss in this year’s postseason, and it looks like both teams are having a little contest to see who can keep riding this wave the longest. If both teams manage to keep the streak alive until the Finals, this year’s title series might be one of the best the NBA has ever seen.

Latest Online NBA Betting Information & Previews

Despite the fact that Boston and the Cavs were the last NBA teams to go at it, players who bet on NBA games online will have to wait a little longer to tune back into the Western Conference Finals. In fact, the NBA has no games lined up for Thursday’s action, choosing to rest it’s players – something seldom seen from the league, in an effort to deliver the most thrilling playoff action possible. The online basketball betting playoffs will continue this Friday when the Celts and the Cavs take to the court to settle Game 3 of their Eastern Conference Finals.

Boston Celtics

The Celtics have now made three-straight playoff appearances, but 2017 marks the farthest they’ve made it. Boston was able to find their way into this year’s postseason by posting a 53-29 record that ended up landing Boston the top spot in the Eastern Conference. Now the Celtics will have to prove that they are indeed the best from the East.

Boston lost Game 1 117-104, which shows that the Celtics were in the mix of things but were unable to make a push in the final quarter to come out on top. Jae Crowder and Avery Bradley led Boston in points. Crowder put up 21 points, 5 assists and 8 rebounds. Likewise, Bradley was good for 21 as well, and 4 rebounds to just one assist.

Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cavs have made two-straight NBA Finals appearances and are looking for their third. Coming in as the reigning champs, most basketball betting players were expecting Cleveland to be in contention for the title once more. The Cavs posted a 51-31 record that landed them the second spot in the East.

LeBron James led the Cavs in points in Game 1 but Kevin Love was not far behind. James finished the night with 38 points, 7 assists, and 9 rebounds. Love was good for 32 points, 12 rebounds, and 1 block.
