Toronto Raptors Betting

After taking the steam out of Kawhi Leonard’s 10-0 in the 4th with a questionable timeout, Nick Nurse has drawn the ire of Raptors’ fans. Despite the fact that they were up 103-97 at the moment, the Raptors would go on to lose 106-105 leading fans to blame Nurse’s timeout for the loss. Judging from the results, it’s pretty clear that it did nothing but allow the Warriors’ to catch their breath and mount a 9-2 memorable turnaround. Now it’s up to Leonard & Co. to march into Oakland and snuff out Golden State’s attempt to force a Game 7.

Game 5 saw Leonard lead Toronto in points with 26 on the night and he also added 12 rebounds and 6 assists to his sheet off of 9-24 shooting. Lowry finished 2nd in points for the Raptors with 18 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists. Off of the bench the team got 28 points with Serge Ibaka delivering the largest contribution as he finished with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 1 assist. As a team Toronto shot 44.7% from the field, 25% from the three and 77.8% from the free throw.

Players to Watch: Kawhi Leonard (30.9 ppg, 9.2 rpg, 4.0 apg), Pascal Siakam (18.7 ppg, 7.0 rpg, 2.7 apg), and Kyle Lowry (14.6 ppg, 4.8 rpg, 6.5 apg).

Golden State Warriors Betting

All in all, this game has special significance for Golden State. After seeing Durant go down with a nasty injury, the Toronto Raptors’ fans elected to cheer instead of showing the respect an injured NBA player deserves. Needless to say, Golden State will have something to say and they’ll let their playing do the talking this Thursday night.

Unsurprisingly, Stephen Curry led the way for the Warriors in scoring in Game 5. He finished the night with an eye-raising 31 points off 10-23 shooting. Additionally, Curry would add 8 rebounds and 7 assists to his stats that night. Thompson was second in points for Golden State as he delivered 26 points off of 9-21 shooting and 6 rebounds, 4 assists and a steal as well. 23 of Golden State’s 106 came off of the bench and Demarcus Cousins dealt most of the damage. Cousins finished with 14 points off of 6-8 shooting and 6 rebounds, one assist and a lone steal as well.

Players to Watch: Kevin Durant (32.3 ppg, 4.9 rpg, 4.5 apg), Stephen Curry (28.5 ppg, 6.1 rpg, 5.7 apg), and Klay Thompson (20.3 ppg, 4.1 rpg, 2.2 apg).

Toronto Raptors vs. Golden State Warriors Betting Picks

So which side should legal betting fans take in this 2019 NBA Finals Game 6 matchup? This one’s going to be tough to call. On one hand, the Raptors have already beaten the Warriors twice on the road. On the other, the Warriors are coming off a huge win and have a chip on their shoulder following Toronto’s reaction to KD’s injury. This, combined with the fact that they’ll be playing at home, leads us to believe that Golden State will come out on top tonight. Sign up today to make your Game 6 betting prediction!

Moneyline: If you like Toronto’s chances on the road then those underdog odds are the way to go. Otherwise you’ve got to take advantage of the lowball moneyline odds out on Golden State.

ATS:  It’s true that the Raptors look better against the spread than Golden State. However, they are 15-16 this season following a loss. And since the Dubs will be playing at home, taking the Warriors ATS might be the better option.

TOTALs: It’s tough to tell how this one will turn out. Game 3 finished 123-109 and Game 4’s total was 105-92 (Golden State won both at home). Neither team has been that impressive against the over/under but the OVER looks like a better choice.

Score Prediction: 112-109 Golden State.
