Players hitting up the betting odds NBA in 2017 knew that they were witnessing history when Kyrie Irving decided to ditch LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. James has been a regular in the NBA Finals for the last several years and seeing a player in Irving that is ubiquitously considered to be one of the best in the world leave James left many NBA bettors scratching their heads. But so far, from what we’ve seen out of the Irving led Celtics, not too many basketball pundits are questioning Irving’s departure. Instead we’re seeing a new superstar emerge out of the ashes of the Irving-James relationship. This Monday night, the Celtics will host the Milwaukee Bucks. Will the betting sportsbook odds predict another great night for the Irving-led Celtics?

Milwaukee Bucks

The Bucks bounce into this Monday night pairing sporting a 12-9 record that ranks them 3rd in the Central Division as well as 6th overall in the Eastern Conference. Coming off a season in which they were eliminated from the playoffs in the first round, Milwaukee is confident they can make their return to the postseason in 2017. So far the Bucks have been performing just good enough to earn a playoff nod as they’re a couple games ahead of .500, and are a couple games ahead of the 8th place Indiana Pacers. Milwaukee might not be able to catch up to the division leading Boston Celtics, but an upset over the conference leader would go a long way for a team that is in the middle of the pack.

Boston Celtics

Behind Irving’s eye-catching success, Boston has amassed a 20-4 record that ranks them 1st in both the Atlantic Division as well as the East. The nearest threat the Celtics are currently facing are the 16-7 Cleveland Cavaliers, who will be looking to prove that they are still the best from the East. Boston has built a decent lead over the Cavs but it’s still very early in the season and the Celtics will need to maintain their success if they are to finish No. 1 in the division. Boston hasn’t had much a problem finding consistency in 2017, but it’s something to keep in mind as we approach the midseason mark. The betting odds NBA are siding heavily with Boston this evening and picking the Celtics over the Bucks is a great option for players looking to rack up some 3 team teaser payouts.

NBA betting players tuning in for this evening’s contest should keep an eye out for Kyrie Irving, AL Horford, and Marcus Smart. Irving is the Celtic’s leading point-scorer as he’s averaging 23.2 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 5.2 assists per night. Horford leads Boston in rebounds with his averages of 15 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per matchup. Lastly, Smart leads the franchise in assists with his means of 13.9 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 5.1 assists.
