Miami Heat vs Brooklyn Nets Betting Picks
The Nets’ recent play is getting a lot of respect from online bookmakers. Normally, the Heat would have entered the game as double-digit favorites against a team that is missing its superstar. But Dinwiddie’s performance over a five-game stretch is pumping the life back to the Nets, who looked lost in early November.
Moneyline: The Nets are 2-1 against the Heat in the last three games. However, Miami is an impressive 10-0 as favorites.
ATS: While there’s no denying Dinwiddie’s impact on winning for the Nets, the Heat seems to be the ideal pick to win straight up and cover the spread. Justise Winslow has returned from a concussion layoff, giving the Heat more depth at the wing position.
TOTALs: The total opened at 213 points. I picked OVER. The Heat have been scoring really well the last three games, and Butler’s return will only make the team’s offense a lot more potent. As for the Nets, the defense has been their calling card ever since Irving went down with a shoulder injury. Then again, I doubt they can hold down this Heat’s offense that is predicated on unselfish basketball.
Score Prediction: 115-100 Heat
