Detroit Pistons vs Miami Heat 11/12/2019 – After four full days of rest, the Miami Heat (6-3) will be coming into Tuesday’s matchup with the Detroit Pistons (4-7) fresh and hungry for more wins. The Pistons, on the other hand, will try to address their sagging record aggravated by back-to-back losses to Minnesota 114-120 and Indiana 106-112. Detroit hopes the return of All-NBA forward Blake Griffin will help them accomplish that objective, as Las Vegas betting lines opened with the Heat as the 7-point favorites.

Detroit Pistons Betting
Blake Griffin finally made his season debut with the Pistons, finishing with 19 points on 6-for-12 shooting, 7 rebounds and 6 assists in 24 minutes of action. He could have changed the outcome of Monday’s 120-114 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves had he played more minutes. The Pistons clearly want Griffin under minutes restriction for the first few games before they fully unleash their top-scorer.
Players to Watch: Andre Drummond (21.2 PPG, 18.0 RPG, 3.6 APG), Derrick Rose (20.8 PPG, 1.3 RPG, 6.3 APG), Luke Kennard (18.0 PPG, 3.7 RPG, 4.3 APG)
Miami Heat Betting
It was an eventful Western Conference road trip for Miami Heat, who lost two of their three road games and dealt with a Dion Waiters’ panic attack on the team plane. The Heat are still fine, though, as their next five games will be against sub .500 teams.
Players to Watch: Jimmy Butler (19.3 PPG, 6.5 RPG, 5.5 APG), Goran Dragic (16.7 PPG, 3.7 RPG, 4.8 APG), Kendrick Nunn (16.6 PPG, 2.2 RPG, 2.6 APG)

Detroit Pistons vs Miami Heat Betting Picks
The Pistons are slowly getting back to full health into the third week of the 2019-20 NBA season. Getting Griffin back is a big boost for a team that ranks 19th in points per game (108.5 PPG). As for the Heat, the absence of Winslow and possibly Herro would mean somebody on the Heat lineup has to step up. Kendrick Nunn has been neutralized the past few games, and it would be interesting if he can continue his hot shooting at home.
Moneyline: The Heat are in for a rough game with the Pistons, but I can still see them bagging the W. They are passing the ball really well this season, and that’s going to be the key in this game.
ATS: The Pistons will keep the game close down the stretch and cover the spread. A -7 point handicap for the Heat will deter them from bagging an ATS win. Miami is 6-2-1 against the spread this season.
TOTALs: This game will go over the NBA over/under totals of 223 points. The Heat offense has been explosive when they are winning and anemic when losing. Expect them to really speed up the pace of the game, thanks to that four-day rest.
Score Prediction: 120-116 Heat
