Cleveland Cavaliers Betting

The Cleveland Cavaliers may have benefited from an easy schedule last week but they are nevertheless putting up a fight. Cleveland’s back-to-back wins vs. the Wizards and the Knicks have pushed them one game below .500. They could improve their win-loss card to 5-5 if, and it’s a big if, they can beat the goliaths of Philadelphia on their home court.

Cleveland Cavaliers vs Philadelphia 76ers Betting Picks

One of the reasons why the Cavaliers remain in the thick of things in the East is they are finally healthy for the first time in many years. Oft-injured forward Kevin Love is averaging solid double-double numbers this season, making the Cavs a threat in almost any game. As for the Moneyline favorites Sixers, their outside shooting remains the biggest loophole on the team. Korkmaz is doing his best JJ Redick imitation, but this Sixers’ team clearly needs more shooting firepower for them to really reach their full potential.

Moneyline: The Sixers will beat the Cavs by exploiting mismatches inside the paint.

ATS: The Cavs should be an intriguing pick for ATS betting since the Sixers will enter the game with an 11-point handicap. If Love, Tristan Thompson, and the Cavs guards put up great numbers, expect the Cavs to push the Sixers to the limit and then fall within single digits.

TOTALs: This game will go over the NBA over/under totals of 215 points. The Sixers is averaging 111 points per game and allowing 106 points per contest. Putting up at least 100 points won’t be a problem for the Cavs offense that norms 107 points per game.

Score Prediction: 112-103 Sixers
