Boston Celtics

The Celtics turned in a more successful season than most online NBA betting fans were expecting. In fact, Boston’s 53-29 regular season record paved the way to a 1st place finish in the Atlantic Division as well as the Eastern Conference – something even the Cavaliers weren’t expecting. The Celts have been playoff contenders for the last three years running but this year marks the first time that Boston has been able to make it past the first round.

In the opening round of the playoffs, the Celtics faced the Chicago Bulls but had no problem the Windy City’s team. Chicago jumped to an early 2-0 lead over Boston, but 4-straight victories assured that Boston would advance 4-2.

In the first game of the Conference Semi-Finals, Boston was able to pick up a solid victory over Washington, 123-111. It’s no surprise that Isaiah Thomas led the team in points, thanks to his 33 point, 9 assist, and 1 rebound performance. Jae Crowder also came up big for Boston, putting up 24 points, 1 assist, and 6 rebounds.

Washington Wizards

Like the Celtics, Washington also enjoyed a highly successful season that culminated in a 49-33 record. Overall, the Wizards finished 1st in the Southeast Division and 4th in the Eastern Conference.

The Wizards opened this year’s playoffs by facing off against the Atlanta Hawks. Atlanta proved to be a worthy advisory, but in the end Washington advanced against the Hawks 4-2.

Washington wasn’t quite able to light up the stats sheet like Boston did in Game 1. Nonetheless, Bradley Beal was still the team’s points leader thanks to his 27 point, 4 assist, 1 rebound performance.
