Cleveland Cavaliers

Although the Cavs looked great in Game 1, they barely made it out of their alive. In fact, the 113-112 finish makes it perfectly clear that this series will be coming down to the wire. And unlike the Pacers, who didn’t have a plethora of top level talent, the Raptors are one of the best teams in the East. But can they beat LeBron in 7? Well they’re not off to a great start but there’s still plenty of basketball to be played. As for tonight’s matchup, James didn’t exactly go all out in Game 1. That said, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the veteran take it up a notch this evening in order to secure an early lead in this series. Nevertheless, Thursday’s NBA sports betting odds are going Toronto all the way.

Players to Watch: LeBron James (33.4 ppg, 10.1 rpg, 8.4 apg), Kevin Love (10.9 ppg, 9.8 rpg, 1.1 apg), and JR Smith (10.0 ppg, 3.0 rpg, 1.1 apg).

Toronto Raptors

The Raptors kicked off their postseason journey by facing the Washington Wizards. Although the Wizards were able to pick up two games, everybody knew the Raptors would be advancing past them. Now, facing off against Cleveland, most bettors felt that Toronto had the upper hand. Instead, we’re seeing Cleveland taking the lead in the series. The question tonight then, is whether or not Toronto can bounce back. Considering how close the first match was, and considering that the Raptors will get the home court advantage once again this evening, it might be safer to stick with Toronto on this one.

Players to Watch: DeMar DeRozan (26.0 ppg, 3.9 rpg, 4.9 apg), Kyle Lowry (17.3 ppg, 4.6 rpg, 8.6 apg), and Jonas Valanciunas (14.6 ppg, 11.0 rpg, 1.1 apg).
