Monday’s online MLB betting action may have been a little bit on the short end, but the action the league did put forth was engrossing to say the least. Monday’s action was kicked off by the Colorado Rockies, who handed the Philadelphia Phillies an 8-1 beating. From there, the Minnesota Twins decided to raise the bar by beating the Baltimore Orioles 14-7. Additionally, the San Francisco Giants and Chicago Cubs put on the most competitive show of the night, with the Giants pulling out the victory in the end 6-4.

Players who bet on MLB games can continue to partake on this year’s action this Tuesday. The league will kick off their action at 7:05 pm ET when the Seattle Mariners travel to the nation’s capital to face the Washington Nationals. The late start of this contest means there won’t be any midday action for online MLB betting players to enjoy, but since the MLB is putting on 15 contests this afternoon, players can still get their fix throughout the night. However, bettors will have to be selective with the matches they tune in for, since a total of 11 games have a 7-ish start time. One contest that could prove to be worthy of tuning in for is the pairing between the Toronto Blue Jays and the Milwaukee Brewers.

Toronto Blue Jays
Coming off a season in which they made an American League Championship Series appearance, the Blue Jays are hoping they can go all the way this time. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like Toronto will be competing for the title this season. The Blue Jays are currently 19-26, which lands them the last spot in the AL East, and the penultimate spot in the AL.
The Blue Jays will be sending Joe Biagini to star this Tuesday. Biagini is 1-2 on the season with a 3.41 ERA. Despite the less than stellar stats, baseball betting sites are still giving the Blue Jays a shot with Biagini.
Milwaukee Brewers
The Brewers have missed out on the postseason the last three-years consecutively, but the franchise is hopeful that Eric Thames will be the key to putting an end to that drought. Milwaukee brought Thames in from Korea, and at first there was some hesitation about how the free agent would transition to the MLB. However, 11 homes in April proved there was more than meets the eye with Thames, and the free agent is currently hitting .360 with a 1.0000 slugging percentage against fastballs of 94 mph or higher. Needless to say, Milwaukee owes its current standings to Thames.
Milwaukee currently leads the National League Central with their 25-19 record. The Brewers currently own a 1 ½ game lead over 2nd place St. Louis. Tuesday night, the Brewers will be sending Jimmy Nelson to the mound. Nelson is 2-2 on the season with a 3.86 ERA.
