Oakland Online Baseball Wagering Favorites over Mariners

Run line baseball betting takes no breaks and Tuesday’s action is no exception. Monday was rather lackluster in the variety of action the MLB offered. However, the league decided to pick up the slack by offering a full menu of 15 contests so that players can find the perfect baseball wagering line.

Latest Online Baseball Wagering News & Previews

Monday’s betting results were fairly straightforward. The largest beating of the night came at the hands of the Houston Astros, who handed the lowly Marlins a 7-2 smacking. Alternatively, the most competitive match was between the San Diego Padres and the Milwaukee Brewers. Despite having a rather disappointing record for the season, the Padres were able to upset the Brewers 6-5.

Tuesday’s baseball wagering action will kick off at 4:00 pm ET, when the Toronto Blue Jays host the Atlanta Braves. The action will continue until the Dodgers and San Francisco Giants game kicks off at 10:15 pm ET. With a wide diversity of pairings, there is bound to be odds for every player. One contest that could have interesting results is the late-night game between the Athletics and Mariners.

Oakland Athletics

The Oakland Athletics came into this season with one goal; to put an end to the franchise’s 2-year postseason drought, or at the very least improve on last year’s disappointing .426 win percentage. So far, the Athletics have dropped the ball, seeing as how their sitting on a .421 win percentage after posting a 16-22 record. That unfortunate record ranks Oakland dead last in the AL West, where they’ve finished for the last two years. Albeit, it’s tremendously early in the season to hang up the cleats on Oakland’s season, and considering that they’re only two-games behind 4th-place Seattle, Oakland can still make 2017 an improvement. That starts with beating the Mariners Tuesday night.

Oakland will be sending Andrew Triggs to the mound against Seattle. Trigss is 5-2 on the season and wields a 2.21 ERA.

Seattle Mariners

Like the Athletics, Seattle is also looking to put an end to a postseason drought. The only thing is that theirs is much longer, 15-years to be exact. Last season, Seattle showed some promise that they could finally get into the playoffs by finishing 2nd in the AL West. Unfortunately, their efforts proved to be insufficient and this year’s performance isn’t much better. The Mariners currently rank 4th in the AL West, thanks to their 18-21 record that places them 2-games ahead of Oakland, and 1-game behind the Rangers.

Seattle will be giving Chase de Jong the start Tuesday night. De Jong is 0-3 on the season, and bolsters an unimpressive 7.85 ERA. Despite the fact that Seattle won Game 1 6-5, the baseball wagering odds have still sided with Oakland. De Jong’s ERA is a warning sign to keep away from Seattle, but since Oakland is riding a 4-match losing streak, De Jong could very well get his first win of the season.
