They had to play three games against the Chicago White Sox to make it past the Wild Card round. Last night, Oakland went deep from the plate and smashed nine runs to victory. A three-run home came-off the plate from Chad Pinder while Mark Canha, Tommy La Stella and Marcus Semien contributed as well. The Athletics are yet to announce their starting pitcher for their game against Houston.
