As many online MLB betting experts predicted, this year’s World Series has gone the full length. This evening will represent the final game of the 2017 MLB season as the Dodgers will host the Houston Astros to put an end to this championship series. Both teams are coming off of Game 6 which saw Los Angeles tie the series up with a 3-1 solid triumph. Let’s take a look at what kind of turnout baseball betting sites are predicting for the final game of the MLB season.

Houston Astros
The Astros were hopeful that they could close the World Series last night but the team did not deliver the performance that was needed to accomplish such a tremendous task. Coming off a huge 13-12 win in Game 5 to retake the lead in the series, some bettors felt that the Astros would be able to ride the wave of confidence to an easy win in Game 6. But, Los Angeles is too talented of a team to allow such a thing to happen.
Houston was able to find the first run of the night, a home run from George Springer in the top of the 3rd to bring in the lone run. It would take Los Angeles three more innings before being able to respond. In the bottom of the 6th, the Dodgers were able to bring in two runs by playing some pretty good baseball; Taylor doubled to allow Barnes to score and then Seager hit a sacrifice fly to the right that allowed Utley to score.
In their following at bat, Houston would not be able to respond allowing the Dodgers to keep their lead. Once the Astros stepped off the diamond, Los Angeles’ Joc Pederson would deliver the second home run of the night, bringing in the Dodgers’ third and final run of the night. The game would be pretty uneventful from there on out.
To try and bring some glory to Houston, the Astros will be sending Lance McCullers Jr. to the mound this evening. McCullers is 7-4 on the season with a 4.25 ERA and a 1.30 WHIP. McCullers hasn’t been that great in the World Series, posting a 1.50 WHIP and a 5.06 ERA in his last 5.1 innings pitched. With McCullers on the mound, it’s not looking great for Houston.
Los Angeles Dodgers
Online sportsbooks are siding with Los Angeles all the way this evening. Backing LA in Game 7 is like backing New England in the Super Bowl: it’s a pretty safe bet. Yu Darvish, the player who drew some racist gestures from the Astros’ players earlier this series, will get the start this evening. Darvish is 10-12 on the season with a 3.86 Era and a 1.16 WHIP. Darvish has posted some pretty wacky stats in the World Series as his ERA is a whopping 21.60 in his last 1.2 innings pitched.
